Hi All, just wondering what rates you are using for the Rodeo 150? Stock rates based on what I see in Clean Flight are:

    ROLL 0.85
    PITCH 0.85
    YAW 0.80

Has anyone changed these to be slower/faster based on your flying style? I think they are pretty fast already, but thinking about playing around to see how it impacts my flying.

    Cheers

Don't change these rates in CF. Set up dual rates on you devo TX.

Ok, I might give this a go tomorrow! Thanks for the advice; I am thinking I might tame it down 50% and see if I can potentially fly it indoors FPV when no-one else is home. I might also set up a model to have slightly higher rates for acro mode outdoors. Being brand new to this I wasn't aware I could set up dual rates via the Tx. Just youtubed it and it seems pretty straight forward :)

Flying Indoor FPV with a F150 would indeed be a challenge. I fly 450 Size 3D helicopters in my kitchen and its a real challenge. (Hover practice)

The settings in the Flight controller do more than just attenuate the control sticks. They adjust the basic flight characteristics of the model.

With the TX you can switch between different rates and also have it adjust rates automatically dependant on the flight mode switches.

I assume you are using a Devo 7? Here is the manual from our resources tab.

Learning to program your computer radio will add additional benefits in the future.

    Manual: Devention 7

    Cheers Brian
