Hello, I really do not know if it's a problem or something I did wrong, but sometimes when I turn on my Vitus ... it takes several minutes to detect my Iphone.

My ignition process is first the Vitus, then the radio control and then I look to see when the Wifi device appears on my SmartPhone. But sometimes it's more instantaneous than in other

    Do you know why?

I guess it is dependant on the GPS startup to complete to all the internal Checks on the Vitus to complete.

The GPS module has a battery backup but it only lasts for about 15 minutes.

So cold starts will be slow warm starts will be faster.

    Cheers

Sometimes it takes several minutes, the odd thing is that with the first battery that is cold I took it fast and then with the second slower. The same depends on how long it takes to start GPS and the entire system

The time taken for the GPS to start will be dependant on what sats are in the sky and their positions in the sky when it starts.

Then once you put GPS active, the Wifi should be already available because if the GPS does not go or you keep it inside a house the Wifi will take longer

I dont know what the process is for the internal start up of the Vitus exactly is. I can only surmise.

    GPS is one.
IMU warmup will be another. So that will depend on the ambient temp at the time.
Wifi channel select will be another. It will sense what the local wifi is before selecting its own channel. This will be dependant on what local Wifi Access points are available at startup.

Startup times will vary depending on a lot of things.

    Cheers
