Hi guys. Newbie with the F210 here :)
Do I connect both the transmitter and the drone (receiver) to the PC at the same time when upgrading the OSD firmware..? Or do I do it one by one..? I do use the same upgrade file on both..?
I did update the flight-controller firmware and that went smoothly... :)

I guess it is only possible to connect one at a time because of the tool used

Just to be clear about this: I do use the same upgrade file on both...?

I mean, do I use the same file on both the transmitter and the receiver..?

There is no update to either the transmitter or to the receiver.

There is a update to the Flight Controller and a seperate update to the OSD module.

Read the instructions included in the FW update package.

I have copied it here as well.

Make sure you follow the instructions precisely.

I assume you have a standard F21 not an F210 3D. This update is only for the F210 standard.

    Cheers Brian

It is required for the update process for the OSD. You need the full UP02 tool set to do the OSD upgrade.

The UP02 Tool comes in 2 parts. The USB to Audio Connector Plug (For the Devo 7 radio) and the Audio Connect Socket and Extension Wires to connect to Flight Controller and Devices that do not support USB. Like the OSD on the F210.

If you want to update the OSD you will need to buy the UP02 tool.
