I am settling up this thing for the first time and after the remote was turned on and the copter was turned on, the landing skids would not extend. Can someone please help me?

Is the radio programmed for the drone?

Were the batteries stored at storage charge.

Are all the trims on the radio centred.

Can you take a video of you trying to link the radio to the drone.

After powering on the radio you only have 3 seconds to power on the drone.

I purchased unit on DealDash auction about 3 years ago. I only just opened it now because I have been too ill to mess with it till now (cancer & liver transplant).
Is there a trick to getting the battery out of the drone after it has been installed?
I have been pressing the side tabs and pulling on it, but it won’t come out. This instruction booklet is horrible.
I will try to power it up again. I t didn’t say you had only 3 seconds to turn both units on.
I very much appreciate your help and hope you don’t mind if I continue asking you questions if I have to. You seem to be a lot better than the book! Thanks again, Pete.

Sorry to say the Battery is nuked. It has swollen up and thats why you cant get it out.

You will have to disassemble the drone to remove the battery and replace it with a new one if you can find one.

Sorry to hear about your health. I have had a few run ins with the old big C myself. (lung)

Ask me as many questions as you like. We are here to help.

    Cheers

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, that C is a big B for sure. I don’t understand how the battery can be swollen since I took it out of the box and easily put it in the copter without a problem. The green lights came on and everything.
Is it difficult to take apart.

    Have a great day.

OK. What lights are on the battery?

Can you take a video of you trying to bind the drone?

It is unlikely that a battery would be OK after 3 years without regular (yearly) storage charges.

You did charge it before installing the battery in the drone?

How long did it take to charge?

Did you get a successful bind to the drone from your radio?

Can you video the drone status panel.

Did you use the retract gear switch to lower the retracts.

Have you tried pushing in the removal tabs and pushing first before pulling on the battery?

    Let me know.

    Cheers

I have decided to sell this drone to someone who knows what to do. The only problem with it is that I can’t get the battery out. I will sell this entire kit, copter plus Devo f 12e radio control unit for $100.00. Any takers?
