So I damaged an ESC recently, which was one of the CCW labelled ones. Annoyingly, these spares, like tonnes of others, are quite hard to come by (have to order from Banggood), but I do have 2 official Walkera CW ESC's.

I've managed to wire the ESC as if it were a CCW variety (basically swapping the black and blue wires on a CCW motor) and it seems to work.

I've only tested this briefly and it seems perfect.

My question is - if I do this for any length of time, is something going to go on fire/break?

Thats the normal process for connecting ESC wiring to get the correct rotation direction.

It will never be a problem.

Walkera just label them with colour coding to make it convenient.

Thanks. Was sure that was the case, but it's always good to get some confirmation.
