I'm sorry to bother you, but do you know of any flight controllers that would work with that receiver.
    Thanks

    Hi guys,
I want to get into the FPV quadrocopter hobby and I'm looking for a kit or ready to fly model preferably under 130 US that would be compatible with my RX-801 receiver. At the moment my most preferable option is Eachine Tyro99, but I couldn't find any information on its receiver requirements.
    So my questions are:
What is the protocol that RX-801 uses?
What flight boards are compatible with it?
Are there any kits or RTF models under with these boards?
Is Tyro99s board compatible with it?
Thank you in advance for your reply and I apologize for the possible mistakes in English used in this post.

The RX801 Supports the Walkera Devo protocol. So it must be used with a Walkera Devo Radio Transmitter. e.g. Devo7, Devo10, Devo F12E.

Unfortunately the RX 801 is a PWM receiver. And only supports Servo outputs not flight controllers.

You need a RX that supports either PPM or S-Bus.

This is the receiver you would need.

US$19.99 26% Walkera RX-SBUS 2.4G 12CH Receiver SBUS PPM Output For Devo 7 F7 F10 F12E RC Parts from Toys Hobbies and Robot on banggood.com

Thank you very much for your answer.
I have one more additional question:
I found out that receiver protocol convertors exist (for example: [US$12.86] S.BUS Turn PWM+s.bus 16CH Multifunctional Converter SBUS-PPM-PWM RC Parts from Toys Hobbies and Robot on banggood.com ) and since they are cheeper that brand new receiver I was wondering if they are of any use and how difficult would it theoretically be too set up one.

These converters will convert from PPM and S-Bus to PWM. They will not convert from PWM to S-Bus or PPM. They only work one way.

So they will not help you.

    Cheers
