hi all, I have a f210, it's my first drone after having a thunder tiger 30 and 60 anyway, I have a fatshark predator v2 headset that isn't compatible with the f210, the f210 3D uses the tx5828 which I understand is compatible with the fatshark, am I able to use the 5828 in my f210? Thanks

The F210 3D ships with an 8 channel VTx. You can buy separately the optional TX5828 that is 40 Channels.

It should support both the F band the same as your Fatsharks and the Race band R.

So buying the optional 40 channels VTx TX5828 should work with you Fatshark Predator V2.

Also remember that the Walkera antennas are all LHCP and Fatsharks are all RHCP. You will need to buy a RHCP polarised TX antenna for the F210.

    Cheers

p.s. poor choice of goggles., Sorry...

Thanks for the reply, what makes you say that about the goggles?

They are only 8 channel and have no RX module to upgrade

So you will never be able to race with them.

Not sure what the rules are in your location but Racing here needs to be on race band and 25Mw max. So CE TX power.

I can't see that being an issue with me, I don't plan to race, it's just a few of us having fun,

From my understanding and from reading the manual the TX5825 only broadcasts in 2,4,6, and 8?

    That is correct for TX5825.

TX5828, on the other hand, 40 channels.

    That is correct.

The TX5825(FCC) is 8 Channel and only 2,4,6,8 can be effectively used. The TX5824(CE) is 8 channel and all channels can be used.

I was referring to the CE version as the OP was asking about both of the FCC VTX upgrades.
