Tomtop: in my case better stay away

    As I posted in the Runner 250 pro I had a unit that did not work as expected (i.e. according to what is described in the user's manual) and crashed. I contacted Tomtop's customer service to have the item replaced or refunded according to the warranty.

    It has been a kind of nightmare: they don't reply to the emails, ask completely stupid questions again and again(like "send us a video" when I said that the RTH did not work and the drone crashed) and refuse to take any responsibility. Sometimes I had to ask them to re-write their replies because they were ununderstandable.

    Other than that it seems that to Tomtop the warranty is a joke. They just don't care about it: after a month of debate the only thing they proposed has been a € 20 refund.

    This unfortunately is normal.

    In most cases these crashes are caused by user error. It is almost impossible to tell by the seller if this is the case or not.
