Yes I'm gunna have to recalibrate, I managed to have a successful manual take off today and it was not easy to control as I had like a little area of space this morning

And I tried a auto take off with the GPS and wow that works Friggin great!!

    Excellent.

Just don't try RTH until you go through the process of fine tune calibration of your compass. By the manual flights specified in the beginners guide to the Tali H500.

Oh forgot to add. After every flight make sure that it has 2 lights on the battery. Charger up to 2 if lower. fly the drone if higher.

Don't leave it for more than a day to do this.

LiPo batteries must be stored in Storage Mode. 3.8V per cell. Roughly half way. If you don't, the battery destroys itself, and these batteries are no longer available.

    Cheers

If you have fun with this and you have pulled it apart a few times, It's worth the GPS upgrade.

The Tali GPS is GPS only and has a poor Antenna.

This GPS Unit is GPS and GLONASS. Dual band American and Russian sat system in parallel. So you get much finer GPS lock so Flies very stable in GPS mode and no issues with RTH.

    Runner250(R)-Z-14 GPS Module

And if this is not in my beginners guide always remember if you are going to fly and expect to RTH.

Do not arm the motors until you have 3 or more Blue Lights. I use 5. When you arm the motors it marks that GPS coordinate as home.

If you arm early before it has a decent fix the Home position could be 50 miles away.

This is how a lot of flyaways happen.

    Cheers

Can you take a video with the drone powered on and show the gimbal while you yaw and tilt the drone?
