I have Scout X4 with F12E Controller and a 350 Pro with Devo 7 Controller
I was trying to link up Scout X4 and 350 Pro at the same time. When the Scout
linked, the landing gear dropped 1/2 way then lost link. Landing gear control boards
have shorted out. Removed lading gear and Scout was able to link to F12E.
After linking Scout to f12E, motors would not throttle up more then 3%.

What is the problem? Is the FCS-x4 control board shorted out also?

    Please Help!

Try binding it back to your Devo 7. I think you will find you have not programmed channels 5 and above on your F12E.

After I removed landing gear, I was able to re-Bind to Devo 7
Now Scout will not throttle up more then 2% even if I move throttle to 100%

I tried to re-bind to F12E, it binds to F12E, but still unable to throttle up beyond 2%.
even if I increase to 100% on the controller

    Please HELP!

What does the monitor screen say for throttle when you throttle up?

    Function menu -> Monitor.

Seems to me, I have read many problems with the retractable landing gear on the Scout X4
When I change out the FCS-X4 Controller is there anyway to protect the controller from the
retractable landing gear circuit other then unhooking it all together.
    Also
When I change out the controller do I need to upgrade frame ware again?

I am not saying that the FC is the fault. It is in my opinion the most likely.

The issue with the landing gear is that it jams and the slowly overheats and shorts out. You should place a fuse in the power cct to the gear.

Some people include a seperate BEC just to power the gear.

There are many fixes published on the net.

    Cheers Brian
