I've had my Scout for 8 months and had it working quite well, however I have a persistent issue now that I can't pin down. I can lift off hover, and get full GPS (7 blinks) but after less than a minute it acts like it is losing power and can't hold altitude. Moving it around is sluggish and it will drop to the ground slowly, touch, and then drift back up.

Battery is still showing 4 lights so it has charge although I'm concerned they are "tainted". I was not used to the special handling of these larger lipos and of my 3 batteries only 2 charge correctly now. 2 of them drained too low and I was able to resuscitate one but the other still has dead cells. Even the working ones show signs of swelling as another poster has experienced, but I have 2 that charge normally and show full voltage so in my mind there should be plenty of lift. Could this lift issue be related to batteries or how can I isolate the cause?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Even though the batteries are charging normally they are not holding charge.
