hi All, can anyone give me any ideas as to why my pro just fell from the sky. Yes I’m new to this so I’m careful when flying and don’t go too far. Lol
I was about 30mt from home and 30mt up when all of a sudden it rolled to the left and fell from
The sky. Falling on the road below, no cars thankfully as I’m
In a very quite street. I was in GPS mode what I had to set and spin the drone to get the lights flashing, had been flying maybe 3min battery was fully charged before take off. Now I have spend spend $$$ to fix this piece of crap.

Can anyone give any reason as to why this would happen?
What can I do to prevent it?

    Cheers, Rick

Well I had enough issues like this with my 250Pro. My guesses are these

Could be the battery which comes with 250 Pro.
If the battery wire is too long then propellers could hit the wire and disconnect

This drone have enough problems. I hope your drone still works

Thanks therecordyou, I wasn’t using a genuine battery on this flight. I’m sure that will just be another excuse or should I say potential reason for this to happen. The direction the battery cable was in, if it hit a rotor it would have flipped the other way.

    Anyways, thanks for your response.

Rear right led wouldn’t flash, held both sticks on the tx down and to the inside to set the gps, once of the ground, I selected gps mode and off I went.

Ummmm. What makes you think that sets the GPS?

You ahem to wait for the lights to indicate you have a GPS lock, before you activate the motors.

Using GPS mode with no active GPS lock is extremely dangerous.

Sorry it was the compass calibration. Page 17 of the quick start guide, 11.7 compass calibration.

Did you complete the compass calibration successfully. Did you disconnect the battery after the calibration so It exited and saved the calibration.?

You must fly in manual for at least 3 flights slowly rotating the drone 360 degree to do a Compass fine tune before you attempt to fly in GPS mode.

    Cheers

When you say three flights slowly yawing the drone in circles, do you land and disconnect the battery after each flight?
