    Hello,
I got a Walkera Runner 250 PRO from the Walkera official site.
I received in 4th may and crashed in 10 may.
    I was 35 m above a field and 50 m far from me.
Suddenly the drone flipped over and with full speed crashed.
Did this happen to someone? I never saw a 250 PRO flipping. Does not have acro mode. I would like acro mode but it hasn't and still flipped over uncontrolled.

Did you write to them? I think mine is in warranty. And didn't pass 7 day from receiving. I hope all the best :) And for you too.

    Hi,

No I didn't write. I'm not 100% sure it is not my own fault. It has not happened before, but I just recently upgraded it the the latest firmware (1.0.5) so I'd like to investigate first what happens and will record video from all future flights. It maybe was a faulted prop. or something. What was remarkable about that day, is that the weather was extremely windy and the quad was pretty high in the air (where the wind is even stronger). It was fighting the wind at the moment, and leaned a lot on the side, and then I just lost it: it basically flipped and fell down.

Oh, I understand. When I flew it was a great day. No wind, no rain, it was sunny, perfect to fly. I didn't upgrade the firmware, I had it for 4 days. I contacted walkera and they told me to upgrade, change parts and the ptoblem will be solved. I didn't think to upgrade firmware to a brand new drone :)) I am waiting for one more answer from them, because I sent the mail to 3 different mails and they asked for the QR code and purchase order.
And btw I recorded the flight, but when crashed the antena broken and lost signal, couldn't stop the recording and is lost. I wanted to see what happened.
These days I saw another post on the forum with flipped 250 PRO, maybe the software is bugged.
If I repair and happens again? Who's fault is that? I'll see, if there is something new information I write here.

So it was a new drone with new batteries and was it RTF or BNF? What was the battery voltage when it crashed. If you over discharge the battery this is what will happen.

It was RTF, new, with new batteries and it crashed after 30 sec, so the voltage was around 12.5 V. I always landed at 10.8 V.

How long did you wait after connecting the battery to arming the motor?

I don't know. I connected the battery, waited to bind, the led stopped flashing. And after a few seconds I armed it, the GPS led started flashing. I did that always the same. I don't think is this the problem.
