Does anyone know what size motors I can use to replace the original ones that came with the Furious 215?

Another question about motors. I saw that walkera online shops sell just one kind of spare motor for the 215, instead of a cw or ccw version. My question is about the thread direction of the prop shaft: if I mount a cw threaded motor in a ccw position and tight up carefully the ccw prop, am I "on the safe side" or is that to be avoided?

You'll be fine. All the motors are the same just wired differently

The motors on the F215 are 2205’s 2500kv There not bad, but also not the best. For the price there’s a lot of better motors out there. I personally like brotherhobby motors. Look for a motor with curved and stronger magnets. You could get a good quality 2205 or even go with a 2305 just make sure the hole pattern on the bottom is 16x16. The EMAX red bottoms are also great but the hole size is 61x19 so you’d have reem the 2 holes in the arms out.

Do not do this. It will spin the props off in braking.

Wrong. They are the same electrically but the prop threads are reverse on CW and CCW.

But if you use props with Prop nuts you are OK.

    Hello my dear friends,
Bryan, you are the god of "Walkera" I mean this with all my heart and mind. You have help me countless times and I praise you and thank you for it, and aka next time your in Canada's capital of Australia ie whistler the beers are on me . Walkera only offers 1 motor for the 215. Because as you stated the use props nuts. I was very nervous when I read your last post as I ordered a motor an didn't select cw or ccw, but after looking at walkeras official site they only offer 1 motor.
Not trying to be a d*+k, just wanted to make sure that I'm correct. Cause now I'm nervous

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you nervous.

I have found that people stumble on these pages with searches and do not understand the context. So I over explained.

You are OK with F210s as both the 2D and 3D have prop nuts.

Just didn't want people to think all motors are the same generically.
