Hi guys I am making this thread to share the info that I would have liked before I started making the qx90. the Devo F7 is my only controller that I use with all my drones so I had to make it work with the qx90.

The receiver I used was a rodeo 150 PPM receiver RX716.

My first mistake was that I got the qx90 with an FRSKY RX built into the FC as I thought it would be a separate RX that I could remove. I attached to RX716 to one of the UART connections but couldn't get to FC to listen to anything but the built in RX.

then I got a new FC (SPR F3 EVO BRUSHED) without the inbuilt receiver. attached the RX to UART 2 and started playing with clean flight I had to invert the YAW and ROLL and setup the min/max inputs.

Then it wouldn't arm and it ended up being the Min check in the CLI setting being set too high.

Finally it all works and flies great in ACRO. its great fun for indoor flying or small parks. and is surprisingly fast.

all in all its a great cheap quad to use in areas where other quads are too big.

ill get some pics up soon then it will make more sense.
