It is a small in size drone with an 8s battery so it has quite a heavy weight to size ratio. So it has fantastic wind penetration and wind stability.

You need to be very careful on how you prep it for flight the first time.

Here is a link to the steps for a Tali H500 the Premium is the same.

Make sure you don't attempt a GPS flight until the IMU and compass has been self auto fine tuned with a couple of manual flights.

And never ARM the motors without at least 8 sats in the lock. You will get the White Sports Devo F12E. Its my favourite.

My second Premium was incorrectly configured when it was delivered from the factory. It was pretty much un-flyable. When you attempted to land it would bounce in the air and flip.

I compared the Settings to my first premium and there was many settings set incorrectly like the throttle position to disable auto level on landing.

When your Premium Arrives. Ping me a PM and I will talk you through checking the Flight settings.

So read this Tali thread and absorb what you can.

    Cheers Brian

So many thanks Brian. Appreciate you're putting in a lot of time for others.

    OMG... I am not a techie...so..dread the configuration..huh..

If Tali H500 and Premium are same, are parts interchangeable?

Sorry mate, didn't understand the "ping me a PM'"...a call of some sort?

another question for curiosity's sake - why did you get a second Premium? Don't have to answer. I would've bought another type, perhaps.
    Cheers/Mo

Thats send me a PM on this site when you are ready.

Tali and H500 have the same APM software. So behave the same, that is all that is the same, no parts are interchangeable other than the props. ( but you must swap 4 at a time)

I like to have 2 of each so I can diagnose and evaluate differences like changing flight characteristics. You must have a baseline comparison to work from to test effectively..

Some people change things but they cannot test in the same conditions. Temp, Wind etc. So the testing becomes meaningless.

Besides it was a super special from Helipal for $500 AUD. So about 60% discount.;)

Hi Brian, looking for a carry case for premium, unable to locate a good one on the usual web sellers. Is there a good supplier for this item in Aussie?

Carry case. You will need to build your own. One big enough with the square pluck and pull interior.

The Scout case does not work.
