Are the standard replacement self tightening props for the f210 5040, 5045?

The parts list can be downloaded from this resource.

    PARTS: F210 and F210 3D

But I expect you don't want the standard props but intend to experiment. Do so at your own risk.;)

    Cheers

Thanks for the link. You are correct I was going to order some Kingkong props but wanted to get similar to the standard props and use low profile M5 nuts. The only reason why is because the self tightening props can be a pain sometimes to take off, needing a monkey wrench to hold the motor
at times. Apart from that I have no problem how the quad performs using the standard props.

I got some and it only offers a couple threads over the prop to tighten them down. Seems like the motor shaft is too short?

Get some low profile M5 nuts.

Also I got these the other day, they have a thinner hub.

Yes i got those exact ones in black from aliexpress a little bit more money. Thanks for sharing the link. Even with the low profile nuts it still only bits a couple threads. It wont strip the threads off in crashes?

I recommend HQ Prop 5x4x3 Props by Rotor Riot)

I only run the HQ Prop 5x4x3 Props (Pair – Rotor Riot) as they don't require PID re-tuning unlike more other brands because they are as light as the stock props

Most Tri blades are heavy and result in big oscillations without changing PID's

You can change PIDS if you use Cleanflight Version 1.2.0.

Just don't change any other settings.

But if you don't know how to tune. Don't touch anything.

    Cheers
