    Hello !

I just had a Devo 7E radio for my NoName drone. The radio looks great, but will it work for the quad? The symbols are showing heli in the display. Also I cannot find any setup for drone in the menu...

eventually, can I change the software to make it ready for quad ?

Also, I need to get it paired to the Lemon receiver, if possible. If not I need change the Lemon RX for a Walkera receiver, right ?

Can anybody please guide me into this, I am totally New into this.

Also, I tried connect the Devo 7E to the PC using the usb cable that came with it. No response on the computer. Where do I get the driver for this ? When is it necessary to connect the radio to the computer?

Can anybody please guide me to make this work ?

Download the user manual for the radio. Drones must be programmed as a plane not a helicopter.

You need a Walkera RX and the RX model will be dependant on the drone flight controller. The flight controller interface to the RX will be either S-Bus, PPM or PWM. You need a matching RX and FC.

    Cheers

That should support both PPM and S-Bus. S-bus has 2 versions Inverted and non inverted. So your best bet is to get a Walkera RX that supports both. If S-Bus does not work (Is preferred as it is faster) then use PPM.

Do you have a suggestion for a receiver that fits the radio or will all walkera receivers with both protocols fit the walkera radio? And the controller board as well?

This radio has no "Drone symbol" or any reference for drone in the menu. Is seems to refer to plane and heli only. Does that indicate any problem using it with a drone?

Thanks, and again bear with a newbie like me

Radios that have a drone symbol are identical to airplane. Airplane = Drone. helicopter = Collective pitch and 5 Channels required. Can be used for Airplane or drone.

All Walkera devo RX s will work with all Devo TXs. e.g. a Devo 7E will work with a 12 channel rx and provide 8 channels in PPM.
