    hey there,

i'd like to upgrade my copter.. the problem is that i'm using a macbook. i downloaded the firmware and APM Planner 2.0... but the APM Planner doesn't recognise the firmware file, i guess because it ends with ".bin". i've tried to unzip it with several software but it's just not working :(
i've never seen one of those .bin-files before... and the curious thing is that before i downloaded it, it was a zip-file... so, i reckon it's a apple thing.

Has anyone had that problem before? PLEASE HElP

Thats correct, you need to find a PC from somewhere to upgrade. I bought a $100 laptop just to use mission planner on as firmware and the app support is no existant for MAC's other than APM planner 2

@pugnot, what laptop did you buy? Are there PC tablets that I can do the upgrade on as well? I'm a Mac user exclusively and as a professional graphic designer, hate PCs! Thanks.

DO NOT USE APM on Your Walkera model.

You will brick the fight controller.

You can only save settings and load settings to text files. Anything else like FW changes will brick the FC.

If you have a mac use bootcamp. Free or VMWare fusion. better but not free to run a windows VM.
