As you would for any quad that does not have GPS.

    Do you have one?

You set this in the TX settings.

Function menu > Fail Safe > It has all 4 sticks set Throttle to fail safe L100

Personally I think this is a bad idea. This will cause the quad to tumble and have an uncontrolled crash.

I would set Fail Safe to Aileron, Elevator and Rudder to 0 (Midpoint. (This will cause the model to halt its motion and auto hover.)

And set Throttle to L60 that is 20% throttle. This will cause a slow controlled landing.

Be warned through that switching your radio OFF by the switch will cause the model to unbind and you will need to remove power with the props spinning. If the model loses signal this will not be the case and you can manually shut down the model if it comes back within range.

    Cheers Brian

Cool, give us a rundown on the model and how it flies.

You should also put a LHCP Antenna on one of the diversity antenna positions on your DVR.

    Cheers

Function menu > Fail Safe > Throttle to fail safe L100 doesn't work anymore! On Walkera Runner 250 it did. But the F210 is not doing any fail safe with this setting if I turn off the Devo 7. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Sorry i forgot to update this thread. Yes Renndrohne This method doesn't work. As a matter of fact if the receiver is turned off The quad loses its binding with receiver. This make the 210 go crazy and crash.
I don't have a solution but hope fully some one else has an idea. I've tired looking into clean flight if i can do anything but nothing seems to work.

Thank you very much for your answer. I've been working on this fail safe all day long and it just doesn't seem to work. I thought I'm doing a mistake. So if you have it too then it makes two of us. However I wonder why there are not more people complaining about that. Fail Safe "on" is the first thing everyone should actually do and it's saving lifes and costs. I'm a big fan of it.
