Ordinary Solder is fine for that Job. I use higher temp Silver or Aluminium additive solder for joins that require High Current connections. e.g. Building large LiPo batteries from single cells.

Just make sure the iron is hot enough to do the job quickly and ensure you don't get a cold joint. i.e. don't cook the circuit next to the joint.

FPV 5.8Ghz is an arcane art form You need high power TXs in the Model and the correct antennas on the RX.

e.g. I have 2W VTX transmitters for extreme range. You can only use it out in the country as you will swamp all 5.8 Wifi in the area.

I now have a DJI Goggles RE on order and 3 airborne packs. I can now legally put a flight pack in a FPV wing and fly it out 7klm.

Wow that's awesome I bet that is a fun flight.ok sounds good thanks Brian, I'm so waiting for nicer weather I wanna get out and fly. Yeah I just trying to find a solder that would be good just for replacing esc, to the board, there so many different versions out there, plus I haven't soldered since high school, so I'm pretty new to soldering.

    OK.

Best bet is to use some flux first. Put the Flux on the wire and then tin the wire. Make sure you have a good blob of solder on the ESC pad and then heat the pad till it melts add the wire until the tinning melts and then remove iron.

Buy some solid flux and flux solder. You can never have too much flux.

    Cheers

Programming will be dependant on the Flight Controller you select.

OK thanks Brian, another question, I had someone set up smart audio, I have the tbs unifi, vtx, so when I went into the osd, to change channel and power level I realized I went into ta, tramp audio and I hit save and reboot, not realizing I needed to go into the sa, for tbs, smart audio, just wondering if I messed anything up by clicking on the wrong smart audio, it probably didn't do anything because I don't have a tramp, vtx, but just wanted to make sure

Sorry mate I have no idea. I would guess that it would be OK but I am not familiar with that technology.

    Cheers
