Try putting your battery in and binding to your controller before connecting the USB.

Wrong cable type as I put in another thread. ( charger cable)

Also never remove the rear VTX antenna. If you power up the model without the antenna it will fry the VTX in about 3 second.

    Cheers

Brian, I'm not doing the update @ this time. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Let's see how this goes. Too windy to fly anyway, so finishing my Dad's
P-51 B (Razorback) like he flew in WW II. Almost done, need linkage adjustments and mount the retractable gear as an absolute to fly. Been thinking FPV just because I can. I like to put the grand kids in the pilots seat. Dramamine & Barf bags all around! Haha
Look forward to hearing more about the firmware and any substantial improvements before I move on the PRO. Sure wish the weather and my schedule will sync up as I'm on double secret probation for flying the 250 indoors again, caught red handed yesterday, but hey, nothing broken or scuffed, the cats a little freaked out, but it's used to my brushed little quads and I got bored, time got away, wife came home, busted. Happy Flying!
    Sincerely,
    Chuck

No need of update. Its not mandatory like DJI drones. Itll fly fine. Trust me. Because I had issues after updating my first drone. Fly safe have fun
