    Hi Guys,

    Please give me your thoughts, Im planning to change my F210 ESC to DYS XSD 20A 3-4S ESC BLHeli, I'm just confuse about the wiring were will I solder the 4 wires into PDB of F210, please see attached photo. DYS_XSC_20A_3-4S_ESC_BLHeli_S_-_Google_Search.png

    From Left blue arrow to bottom Blue arrow.

    Main Negative of battery.
    Negative on Flight Controller.
    Throttle Output on Flight controller.
    Main Battery positive terminal.Cheers

    Hi bjr981s,

    Thank you for the response again.

    I saw on rcgroups forum he change also the esc, my question is, its okay not to include the wire from ESC the Negative on Flight Controller? because on the PDB of F210 will be only using 3 connections like on the image he solder together the oins. I plan to use now to use spedix 20a esc like on the image below

    You should keep it seperate But It will be OK on this model to use the single -ve.

    The reason to have them seperate is if you use opto isolation.

    If the ESCs are Opto then they must be seperate wires.

    It looks OK. But without a CCT diagram and closer shots of the main board its hard to be precise.

    I assume that these were the pads that the old ESC was connected to?

    I can see that they have doubled the -ve and +ve to 2 tracks on the mainboard to get some lower resistance and higher current carrying capacity.

    I would actually if possible route these back to a main distribution point for all ESCS. In decent silicon wire.

    Also in the other shot I can see that the Throttle Signal and the ground from the ESC is a twisted pair.

    I would recommend that you do connect the black -ve close to the FC in this case.

    The twisted pair is wrapped that way to prevent noise getting on the signal wire from the RF and motors.

    Yes these are the pads that the old ESC was connected picture below from rcgroup as you can see he solder two pins from the left same to the right and leave the one on the middle.

    So I will just leave the Throttle Signal and the ground from the ESC to be twisted, but dont connect the ground/black wire to the PDB, im correct?

    I cant see on any of these pictures where the Throttle is actually connected to the old ESC.
