    Hi,

My DIY quad do some "yaw" since few days.

When i go toward, it yaws a little to the right and when i move backward it yaws to the left.

At first i thought it was a FC/calibration/motor issue but it seems by monitoring values ouputs from the RC transmitter that the problem is on the devo7.

In monitor mode, ELEV stick modifies ELEV value (and only this stick does change the value)
Same for AILE and THROTTLE: only concerned stick change the corresponding value. This is normal and expected.
But for RUDDER, the RUDDER stick does change the RUDDER output value from -100 to +100 but the ELEV stick does modify as well by adding from -20 to +20 the RUDDER output value. That is not normal at all. And that explains exactly the yaw when going toward and backward.

I configured nothing in the devo to expect this behavior. In doubt, I resetted it but this is same.
I open the box to see if something would be unexpected but i didn't see anything special.
It's quite new because i bought it less than one year ago...

    Thank you for your help.

What do you mean by Monitor mode?

Do you mean the Devo 7 Function Menu -> Monitor Menu?

If you have reset the model config or set the radio to factory default then it is unlikely that it is a mix.

But check it anyway, check the mix menu in Function Menu -> PRGMX and Make Sure your model config is Aeroplane and not Helicopter.

If its not that then if you have reset the Radio to Factory defaults you must calibrate the sticks in the System -> CALIB Menu

    Cheers
