Hello, first post. Thanks to everyone for making such a useful forum. I have already learned a lot.

I recently purchased a lightly used Walkera Runner 250 Advanced. I am reading about how to avoid the FOD, throttle adjustments, etc. I learned how to make a beginner's profile so I can learn to fly it easier...

And I noticed when I was checking my new and old profile, it seemed when I went to "Monitor" to check my elevator and aileron settings, etc I was off by -9%. Meaning full stick up gave 91%, full down gave me -109%.

I did not set that, maybe the previous owner did. Do i need to correct it, or is it OK. Looked like the -9% error was in both profiles, meaning standard and my reduced power profile.

    thanks

    bl

Oops. May have solved it...I am ashamed to say...I found the manual online...and actually read it.
Now, it having my elevators trimmed -9% is a good thing, I can change it back.

No that is not correct Your rates for Aileron and Elevator are set incorrectly.

If they were correct it would read 91 and -91

Your radio is set with a -9 offset rather than a correct rate.

This is making your back elevator more aggressive than normal.

Thanks for the rapid reply. So I want my aileron and elevator to be neutral, correct? That's what I set it to.

With no dual rates not active it should read +100 to -100 for elevator and aileron.

A good setup for beginners is 65% dual rate. Its set in the dual rate menu.

That on the Servo monitor will give you +65 to -65

When did this start. If after a crash it could be the RX ribbon the FC ribbon or the main board.

I have changed the power board and both ribbons is there anyway that it could have shorted out the rx? That is the only this i can think of but i dont know if that is a easy thing to happen.

Depends on how bad the crash was. It could have damaged the RX and / or the FC.
