Page 24 of the F210 user guide states that the charger GA009 is only suitable for 3S and 4S batteries. The F7 Lipo is a 2S battery.

You need a Walkera GA005 to charge 2S batteries. Or an alternate Smart Charger.

    Cheers Brian

Thanks Brian, wish these shops wrote some more specs for the batteries, so we know the type they are.

Having said that, on this page from about 2 years ago, you talked about some chargers. Got any current recommendations these days to charge; F210 4s, this 2s battery above, and Goggle batteries? Thanks!

The best Chargers on the market are the Graupner chargers. I use them for my ducted fan fixed wing jets and my 800 helis but I have just bought one of these for my smaller helis and drones.

It step chargers around 8 seperate batteries and charges from the balance leads with a seperate charge circuit for each cell.

So its great for batteries that normally take a long time if the cells are different.

You mentioned Graupner, but that's a Radiolink? Same thing?

    That Radiolink looks awesome!

No compromise thats the same charger just a different colour. Very good price though.

If you buy it you need to get the DC power supply for it as well. This fits nicely and interconnects directly to the charger. But its only 12 V so you only get 700W from the charger. (More than Enough)

    Hey Brian,
Got the charger now. But am confused as to what amps I'm meant to be charging the F210 battery at?

In this post you mention to charge at 1C Whats the best lipo battery charger to get ? . From what I can see the F210 batter is 1300maH, so that would be 1.3A charge?

But from what I can read in the manual the GA009 charger that came with the F210 has 3.3A output current? So should it be 1.3A or 3.3A or something else entirely?

    Sorry for the newbite question...

It must be charged at 1.3A or less.

The GA009 Charger ships with many Walkera models some with 3300mah batteries.

    Cheers
