Hi all, I've just purchased a f210 with Devo 7. It seems the throttle has been set on the right stick and being a beginner I'd prefer it on the left. Anyone familiar with these controllers and can help?? I've searched youtube but can't find how to switch the stick configuration. Thanks!

It is possible that you purchased a mode 1 controller when you obviously want a mode 2. Nevertheless, you can change it to mode 2 configuration. When you turn the transmitter on, press enter twice, it should bring you to a page with displ and buzze on it. Scroll down using the dn button. When you find stmod press enter, select mode two. The throttle stick should now be the left stick :)

Hey maxi1906 thanks for the quick response. I tried what you suggested but my problem is the spring in the left stick still pulls it to the 50% point and the right stick is free to move without the spring back. Is there any way to change that?

Sorry, there is no way to change that. You can always buy a mode 2 devo 7 from eBay or somewhere else. But I dont think there will be any easy way to remove the spring on that left stick. Best of luck anyway.

Are you sure? If I'm not wrong, it will be an easy swap. I never done it but heard it from my friend, very easy swap on the spring/gimbal.

The manual shows you how to convert from Mode 1 to mode 2.

    It takes about 5 minutes.

All the springs are attached inside both gimbals.

There is a retaining screw that prevents the spring from working on the throttle. Just move it to the opposite gimbal.

Then there is the throttle tension spring just move that directly across to the other gimbal.

Then in The System menu Change mode to mode 2.

    Cheers
