Noobie here with a Devo 10 arriving today. I have a plan to use this radio with sims on a Mac (FPV Freerider and Liftoff) to polish skills. I believe this may require the install of Deviation firmware. Before I do so, are there any good arguments against using Deviation? I've heard it's pretty complex. I don't want to be mired in complexity.

I'll be using this TX with an F210 3D.

    Thanks in advance.

    C

It is very complex. If you are not used to programming Computer radios you will find it daunting.

Hey, brj981s. I did it in order to use the FPV Freerider and Liftoff sims on my Mac. So far,so good. My F210 3D with Devo 7 still sits in its box until I feel proficient enough to fly it. If I can't find a model file for the F210 3D to put on the Devo 10, or can't figure out how to create one, I still have the 7 to fall back on until I can find a solution.

So far, I have found no model .ini files for the F210 3D.

The manual for the Walkera F210 has the setting for both Devo 7 and 10

I've got both running perfectly and I'm flying in rate mode

I used Freerider for about 5 minutes but got bored lol

He is after a Deviation model file for the 10.

The manual only explains how to do a Devention model config.

@HotDiggity-DON'T! Like bjr981s says,"It's daunting" to say the least. Regretting it. I just want everything back the way it was(Before Deviation). I'm a savvy on the Mac but had to get a PC just to Deviate my Dev 10 and Cleanflight my F210-3D, even BIGGER mistake...there's so many tips and videos that I thought would help but were quite outdated or in other languages. Needless to say, I'm about done with this whole hobby. Good luck to you.
