    Hello!

I've just bought the Walkera UB-001 USB Simulator Dongle for use with my Devo 10 and FPV Freerider.

It appears that the connector is working as the image on the Devo 10 next to the battery icon shows a computer connected to a radio (as below).

However, I cannot get FPV Freerider to see the Devo 10 and cannot calibrate. I'm running FPV Freerider on a Mac.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I think you will need a driver for the Mac from Freerider.

    Bootcamp is your best option.

Thats what I use for my iMac Pro.

Thanks. Can't seem to see a driver on the Freerider pages.

Will the issue be specific to Freerider or would the problem be solved using a different simulator do you think?

I use a different simulator on my Mac for Mac use, and bootcamp for those that only run on windows.

Having said that I do not use a Walkera radio for Sim connection. I use FrSky, Futaba and Graupner.

When you said you bought the Walkera UB-001 USB Simulator Dongle did it state that it was compatible with the Mac?

Can you point me to where you bought it and I will investigate.

For all my USB connections for Walkera radios I either use a standard USB Cable or a UP02 connector for the Devo 7. And use a VMware Virtual Windows 7 PC. For FW updates and Model saves and loads. I run Bootcamp as well for Graphics acceleration for my AMD card for games like X4 and RealFlight 9.
