What did you do with Cleanflight when you had it connected to your Mac?

You have to power up the drone and bind to the radio. Before you plug in the USB.

OK you must have done something in Cleanflight maybe not intentionally.

What was your reason to use Cleanflight in the first place?

    Air mode?

Walkera build OEM proprietary drones. They do not use generic mainboards or FW. Not all cleanflight functionality is supported by the FW and mainboard.

I would recommend that anyone new to this hobby flies their drone without connecting it to anything other than the TX unit; until they pick up the knowledge around what can and cant be done.

I see a lot of newcomers to the hobby end up in tears as they see a Youtube video about tips and tricks ect. Unfortunately most of those are specific to particular models and Flight controllers and Software revision levels. Nobody keeps this videos up to date hence following them can be problematic.

If you are interested in settings then this is not the drone you are looking for. Get a build it yourself model.

Can you video you attempting to bind the drone to the devo 7?

This may show what the issue is.

    Cheers Brian
