Hi all. Tried searching for this on the forum but no results found...
Just wondering if anyone has fitted carbon fibre blades to their QR x350? If so are they the same as the DJI Phantom? Do I need to convert anything to fit??
    TIA
    Gary

The blades are not compatible between Phantom And Walkera drones.
No good reason to convert to carbon fibre blades.

Cheers for the reply! I've seen a number of ads for CF blades for the QRX350 and had wondered about it. The reason for my question was that I've come across posts where people have changed blades as they believe this has helped to stabilise the craft.
    Just was curious to try...

People will buy anything. Just as P.T. Barnum said. One born every minute.

Carbon fibre blades do not provide any benefit other than they are harder to bend in a crash.

They are also very difficult to balance.

If you want to improve you stability, buy a prop balance and balance your blades.

    Cheers Brian

    P.S.

Carbon Fibre blades for drones. Add no value. They are a holdover from Carbon Fibre blades for helicopters where they do add value. The blades on Helicopters are very long in comparison and the Carbon Fibre stiffens the blade so they don't curve up too far in flight and when doing complex 3D flight.
