    hello,

I have ordered the Mini CP from Walkera but was wondering if it would be safe for me to run this helicopter for 20 minutes by swapping out the batteries when it finishes. would this heat up my motor and reduce its life or would it be okay to do so?

I wouldn't do it you need to let your esc cool down or it will just burn out.

The Mini CP has Telemetry and you can set the battery voltage and engine temp alarms. Your ESC will be fine.

I run 5 to 10 batteries through mine but keep an eye on the temp of the motor. Set the alarm to 45 deg C and you will have no issues.

Assuming you have a Telemetry equipped radio. If you don't get one. :)
