My rodeo 110 motor stopped working after only a few days of flying, has anyone else experienced any motor issues? Haven't had any major crashes and connections are still intact. Also has anyone had any experience with Walkera warranty?

I haven't heard much about people having motor issues. Perhaps you got a bad one? I've no experience with Walkera warranty, but I don't imagine you should have much trouble getting a replacement motor from them, or maybe from the vendor that you purchased the 110 from.

Good to hear. Thanks for reporting back. It is indeed a very fun little quad. Currently my favourite in my collection.

I had a motor issue after a crash. The housing on the motor came free of the bearing(which was lost) I had to order a replacement. The motor swap was super easy. Just pay attention to which direction the motor needs to spin when soldering the new one on. Clockwise is a straight connection to the escs. CCW just cross any 2 wires and solder. The escs are plug and play which is also wonderful!

    Hello All,

I am having motor issues as well. When i throttle up #4 motor is continuously turning slower than the other motors. It sounds like its rubbing up against something when it rotates. This sounds like i need to replace the motor but I'm asking if anyone else has experienced this before i buy the part. Also does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this problem?

Check the motor to see if it has ingested something. The magnets in the motors are very strong and will pull any iron based substance into the motor.

Thank you for the much needed help. I had to take apart the motor and i found out that it was a bearing failure That was causing the issue. My advice is to oil the bearings every now and then. They might have not put enough oil in the bearings to begin with. I am in the process of ordering a new motor.

Thanks for the feedback. You should be able to source bearings. Did you remove and measure the Bearing that was faulty?
