I bought used one for $400. Have not yet made any flight as I'm still to my Premium. But I hope this week to calibrate my Vitus and try to fly

I lost my Vitus today. It was flying nicely but suddenly it lost contact with the transmitter, and it crash landed in the sea after "toilet bowling" severely. I am not very pleased, to say the least.

Now I have ordered myself a DJI Maverick 2 Pro. I will never again by anything made by Walkera. The quality of Walkera┬┤s products have taken a nosedive (pun intended) in the last few years.

If you follow the Mavic Pilots and DJI forums, you will find that they also have issues with flyaways and crashes.

Indeed. I have not had many issues either, and I own Phantom 4 Pro +, Phantom 3 Pro, Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 2 Zoom, 2 Mavic Pros, Mavic Air, 5 Sparks and 4 Tello's.

The only real 2 issue I had was Spark first release and its auto switching to 5.8K channels that were not supported on my Phone. (They fixed via FW update) And the DJI FW update for the Air that was implemented on DJI Assistant 2 caused the Spark next update to fail in the update and brick the FC. DJI replaced the Drone under warranty. (They fixed by updating DJI Assistant 2)

But many do. I suspect in most cases both with Walkera and DJI that it is Operator / Pilot error.

    Cheers Brian
