I just buy the Aibao last week and fly nicely for few times. The last flight it run ok around 10 minutes on GPS mode but suddenly the drone fly cycle and become uncontrollable. It run faster and faster and finally hit on a tree. Luckily there is no real damage to the drone and people around. I did Compass calibration before the flight so don't know what is wrong. I am not sure should I continue to fly it or not. Is any thing I can do to save Aibao when it start to fly cycle? I emailed to Walkera service but no reply so far.

Flying circle happens when you change the switch setting.

If it goes into a circle just stop applying aileron and it will stop.

I am sure the problem is not caused by switching to cycling mode. I checked the controller switch still on GFS mode immediately after the issue. I also take my hand off the aileron stick when it started cycle. I tried to increase throttle to fly higher hope to stop the cycle but it become cycle faster and bigger. Finally it completely lost control and crashed on tree.

You need to be careful of the Controller. Its not the rotary switch that is an issue its the push button that you can accidentally depress.

You could have a bad button or switch in the controller. I once had a similar problem with a DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ The three position switch would flicker from off to IOC mode. When it was meant to be off.

It looks like related to the compass issue. Any one has similar problem?

I also see the status light (2 arrows on cycle) blinking green and red on my controller. It's the left most indicator next to battery level. Anyone know what it means? The Aibao manual only has a few pages and didn't mention the meaning of status indicator on controller.

Try contacting Walker Support and ask them what the status lights mean.

I did further testing and my Aibao seems working fine. Looks like the problem is caused by the compass or GPS signal issue. I got magnetic compass error in that area but no problem when I went to other place. Looks like Aibao is very sensitive to magnetic field around.

All GPS flight modes are sensitive to magnetic fields. Its lucky it did not fly way completely.

If you get magnetic compass error any any location. Don't fly there.

so far i fly with aibao go on android and theres no problem .when do compas caliberation try to doit low close to the ground cause i try several times with standing position the compas caliberation fail and yes aibao is sensitive to magnetic so when you fail todo compas caliberation try to move several meter and close to the ground. the walkera drone on android its not ready yet once i flew with it on gps hold the drone ascending and drift by it self just likes on manual mode. i already contact walkera cs and they say their technician forgot something and they are working to fix it now. if you fly with android device just fly with aibao go for now
